March 2017 Newsletter

By Matthew Solomon, 03/03/17, 9:15PM EST

Can you feel it Ice Sports Forum fans?  Spring is in the air! Truthfully not sure when Winter started, if it ever did, but our foliage outside is telling us out with the old and in with the new as our cars will be yellow for the next few weeks.

That being said, our Youth Rec Hockey Winter season just ended and we want to give another special shout out to our division champs!  For the Bantam/Midget division, the Blueberries blew past the competition. In the Squirt division, the puck hungry Raptors clawed their way to victory. And in the Peewee division, the Knights fought their way to the top and arose champions.  Congratulations to them and to all of our skaters for a great season. Spring rec league will be starting on March 11!

The first weekend in March, ISF is hosting the Peewee 12U ‘A’ State Playoffs. A schedule of game times can be found here. A tournament bracket can be found on the premises.

For our Adult Hockey teams out there, we will be hosting the annual Weekend Hockey Tournament March 31 – April 2. We wish you luck if you are participating!

We want to give a shout out to all of our skaters who participated in Orlando at the ISI Spring Classic. We had so many who skated so it is too many to list, but we are proud of all our skaters for their hard work and passion. We can’t wait to see you perform in Oldsmar at the annual ISI Spring Fling taking place March 31 – April 2!

Speaking of competition skating… We are looking to send skaters to Anaheim for ISI World in July. Yes folks, they are that good. To raise money for the trip we will be selling chocolate bars. It may be beach season, but this is for a good cause and we appreciate your support.

It is only March, but summer is rapidly approaching. Be sure to check out all of our great skating and hockey camps here at Ice Sports Forum! Space is limited so reserve your sport today. More information can be found on our website.

For whatever your practice or event needs may be, Ice Sports Forum has available ice time for rent.  Check our homepage for an up-to-date list of available times.

Be sure to check out our Public Skate schedule as we have added a week’s worth of extra public skating March 13-17!  That and the rest of our monthly calendars can be found below.
