Happy Groundhog Day Ice Sports Forum Fans!
Phil saw his shadow so it is six more weeks of winter… We are in Florida and we love ice so I guess we aren’t too affected either way.
We have a lot happening this month at ISF. Hopefully you have noticed our brand-new carpet that has been (or is being) put in. This has been an item on the agenda for a while, but we needed some behind the scenes work to finish first. We will have a full rundown of our most recent upgrades coming out later this month.
In our fabulous skating world, ISF will be sending 40 skaters to Orlando for the RDV Spring Classic to take place February 17-19. We have two Synchronized teams participating in addition to numerous individual competitors. Make sure you wish ‘em luck, we certainly do!
Towards the end of the month we will be holding evaluations for our upcoming Spring/Summer Youth Hockey Rec League. All new players and those changing divisions need to attend evaluations. All current players and those not changing divisions need to register for the Spring/Summer league by February 26, 2016. More information and registration forms can be found on our website here.
For our many artistic vinos out there, our February Wine and Canvas night will be held on Tuesday, February 21 from 6:30-9:00pm. The picture for this month will be revealed on our Facebook page later this week, but hint…what is everyone’s favorite festival coming up? To register early click here.
The Winter/Spring Adult C hockey league is two weeks underway with plenty of good hockey action to be seen. Make sure you come out and support your guys and gals providing you with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night entertainment.
Monday February 6 begins the B-League playoffs that you won’t want to miss!
Be sure to check out this month’s Public Skate and Laser Tag calendars for some quality family fun here at the Forum.
And our final note for this month…. Thanks mostly to all of you wonderful ISF supporters, our Facebook page has jumped to over 3000 likes. We couldn’t have done it without you! Have a great month and be sure to keep following us on Facebook, checking us out on Twitter, and visiting our website for the latest Ice Sports Forum information.
